Melida Skeete-Smith is a soloist, pianist, award winning choral director. Created Skeete Music Productions to honor her father Josesph Skeete who was a violinist and who's classical influence inspired her to continue her passion for music.
Melida is the choral director for The Jubilant Voices of Holman United Methodist Church, located at 3320 West Adams Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90018 323.731.7285.
The Jubilant Voices sings at 8am and 11am every third and fourth sundays, which can be heard on KJLH 102.3 FM. The Jubilant Voices under her direction took first place in the adult catagory of the McDonalds Gospelfest choir competition in 2004.
Their concerts are the last sunday in June (this is a fund raiser. call the church for ticket prices) and the last sunday in November yearly (this concert is free to the public).
Melida also directs the Voices of Harmony a middle aged youth choir at Holman who sings on the fourth sunday along with the Jubilant Voices.

The Voices Of Grace sings 8am and 11am every first sunday and 11am only on the second sunday of each month.
They are presented in concert the last sunday in October yearly (this is a fund raiser. Call the church for details).
Melida is the pianist for the Amazing Grace Youth Choir at Grace United Methodist Church and sings 11am only on the second sunday each month.
